'Hurry Slowly'

The villa is called “Festina Lente”, which means “hurry slowly”, a classic Greek proverb. In this hectic, modern world, it’s good to retreat and enjoy yourself in a house with all the comforts in lush, green surroundings with beautiful views. During your stay in this spacious 2-4 person bungalow you will experience peace and quiet. In addition, you will support two local charities: The Global Village Foundation and Teratai Dharma Centre. Of each booking 5% goes to the two charities. You can enjoy a wonderful holiday and also do something in return for the poorest and handicapped people in Bali.

The villa

The villa consists of a lower – and upper floor of 36 m2 each, a terrace downstairs and a large balcony upstairs. You have a private entrance, swimming pool of 7 x 3 meters with a private sun terrace, garden, living room and bedroom.

The villa is suitable for 2-4 persons. Downstairs you have the option to convert the couch into a double bed. There are shower facilities on both levels.

☺La atención del personal: en especial de Yusi, muy amable nos ayudó desde el primer momento para organizar el trekking Puri Bukit y nos recomendó otro lugares de interés. ☹Utk teh dan kopi yg disediakan dikamar sebaiknya ditaruh dalam wadah tertutup. Karena kalau terbuka spt itu sudah terasa hambar terutama kopinya. Check in can be done from 14H00 onwards at the reception of the Alamdhari resort.

Check out needs to be done no later than 11H00 at the reception of the Alamdhari resort.

Do you supply linen and towels?

Yes, we even supply towels to be used at the swimming pool.

Yes, these are all included.

What is the capacity of the unit (Number of people)?

The villa can accommodate 2 to 4 people. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge that can sleep 2 people. This is ideal for children or if you are having friends over.

Is smoking permitted inside the villa?

No, smoking inside is not permitted.

Is there a kitchen in the villa?

Yes, there is a small kitchen with a refrigerator, however it is not suitable to prepare meals.

Does the villa have a private terrace?

There are terraces, that can accommodate chairs, located at both levels. In addition you have access to a sundeck with loungers and an umbrella.

Are there restaurants in close proximity to the villa?

Yes, Alamdhari has a restaurant. In addition there are local restaurants close by which are well worth a visit.

Do we need to pay tourist tax?

This is included in the costs for the villa.

Is it possible to arrange for a transfer from the airport or any other location?

Yes that is definitely an option, price will depend on the location of collection. From the airport to the villa the costs will be approximately 400.000 rp.

Are there different sets of keys available?

Yes, and you are handed a complete set of keys on arrival.

Are there scooters available for hire?

Yes, scooters are available for hire, costs for one scooter per day amounts to approximately 75 000 rp.

Are there any hiking or day trails in the vicinity?

Yes there are. Sideman offers beautiful scenic trails. We do recommend that you make use of a local guide, they are available at a low daily rate.
